About our Awana Program:
We started our Awana program in 1993 and it has been going strong ever since! Our Awana clubs offer something for kids of all ages. We average anywhere from 40 to 60 kids!
Cubbies is the program for Pre-schoolers; children may begin at age 3 and stay in Cubbies until they begin Kindergarten.
Sparks is the program for children in Kindergarten through Second grade. This is our largest club and has approximately 25 kids in attendance each week.
Truth & Training (T & T) group is for kids in the 3rd - 6th grades. Boys and girls are separated for handbook time in this age group but come together for Council Time and games.
Youth Ministry (YM) is Awana's program for middle school (TREK) and high school (Journey) students. The program continues the discipline of Bible memorization and expands on Bible study and group discussion. The YM material takes the students through a complete reading of the Bible. All students grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to be involved as an LIT (Leader in Training) with one of our children's clubs where they assist adult leaders and learn to serve. Trek and Journey are currently not meeting.
